EXPECTED SCHOOLWIDE LEARNING RESULTS:

ESLR #1: Essential Skills
Cypress High School students will acquire the skills to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. They will develop the ability to speak clearly and listen actively. They will also be able to perform computations and mathematical operations accurately.

ESLR #2: Critical Thinking Skills
Cypress High School students will demonstrate proficiency in critical analysis. They will evaluate on an objective level of understanding and apply complex problem-solving processes to everyday life.

ESLR #3: Technological Skills
Cypress High School students will gain competency in the use of technology and learn to integrate technologies and academic studies.

ESLR #4: Career Planning Opportunities
Cypress High School students will participate in academic and vocational units and strategies leading to career pathway programs and/or higher education. They will also formulate and implement an educational/career plan, which includes participation in curricular and co-curricular programs.

ESLR #5: Life-Long Learning Cypress
High School students will focus upon individual achievement and behavior accountability in an atmosphere conducive to mutual respect, individual growth, and personal safety. They will engage in activities promoting physical, mental, and emotional well being as well as cultivating an appreciation and knowledge of the arts.
